Computers in the Classroom

Each classroom at Holy Infant School has at least two computers for student use. Operating systems Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X, access to all networked software, and internet capability are found on these workstations.

Additional grade appropriate, educational software has been installed on the classroom computers such as Adventures with Buggles in K-1 to enhance our McGraw Hill Reading series, OPAC, Online Public Access Catalog, for access to our library database, and Thinking Reader in grades 5-8, a differentiated reading series that complements a novel being read as part of the Reading curriculum.
