On this Mercy Day, we pause with grateful hearts to honor the Sisters of Mercy from Ireland who faithfully served the Holy Infant community for more than 60 years.
They came with a spirit of faith, compassion, service, and love—and left an enduring mark on generations of students, families, and parishioners. Through their dedication, they helped shape not only the school, but the very spirit of the Holy Infant community.
We are grateful for the lasting traditions they established, the lessons they taught, the faith they shared, and the countless wonderful memories they created during their many years among us. Their influence can still be seen and felt in the traditions we celebrate, the stories we tell, and the lives they touched.
To all of the Sisters of Mercy who served at Holy Infant: thank you. Thank you for saying “yes” to your vocation, for coming from Ireland and making Holy Infant your home, and for giving so generously of yourselves to our children and families.
Your years of service are woven into the history of Holy Infant, and your legacy will remain in our hearts for generations to come.
